White Wine
Fruit for this wine comes from block 3 - located on the east side of Edgewood Estate. It was picked early to mid September and after initial fermentation, the wine was transferred to neutral oak where it remained for approximately ten months on fine lees. The wine is a beautiful light-golden color that delivers a floral nose of stone fruit and honeysuckle. With white peach and apricot on the front of the palate, there is a slightly creamy finish, owed to the oak aging. While this wine is certainly immediately enjoyable, it will continue to develop for several years. As it matures, the wine will likely exhibit more tropical nuances, such as pineapple and mango flavors, and could be harmonious with curry or seafood. It is also enjoyable on its own!
