2024 Verdejo

A clear wine with greenish tinges on the rim. 

The nose is medium + intensity showcasing citric fruits [green apple, lime, lemon skin] stone fruits [white peach, nectarine] floral [acacia, blossom] and some herbaceous notes. There is also a definitive chalkiness or saline quality to the wine.

The palate is dry with medium plus acidity, medium body and medium finish. The wine is very clean and focused with flavors of green apple, pears, pink grapefruit leading to more stone fruit flavors with some aeration and warmth.Intended for earlier consumption, but could develop a few more layers with 1-2 years in the bottle.

Serve chilled and pair with seafood, oysters on the half shell and fresh greens.
