2024 Petit Manseng

Golden yellow in color with pronounced aromas of ripe pineapple, mango and tropical fruits. The palate is rich and weighty with a vein of acidity, keeping the wine bright and balancing out the oily nature of the grape. A richly textured wine, with incredible mouthfeel and weight, showcasing flavors of pineapple, melon, banana, with underlying baking spices along with subtle hints of vanilla and brioche.Noted for its high alcohol and acidity, the small amount of residual sugar is needed to balance out those two characteristics, although the wine drinks like a full bodied dry wine. A somewhat approachable wine but it could use a year or two in the bottle to develop further complexities. Ageing potential of 5-8 years.Pair with spicy dishes, oily fishes and generally richer or fattier foods.
