2024 Cabernet Franc

Medium plus color intensity with ruby edges and deep core,deep and dense.The nose is Medium plus in intensity, displaying aromas of violets, blueberry, black currant, pencil lead, black tea with some herbaceous notes like mint or fennel.The palate is dry with some nice acidity, medium plus tannins and body with a long finish. The flavors are primarily dark berry fruits, some black and white pepper, licorice, black tea and some dark coffee beans.

A wine that has the structure to age 6-8 years and perhaps even further, but is somewhat approachable in its youth, but will need decanting and aeration.Pairs with hard cheese, gamey or dried meats.
