2019 Trevillian Red

Tasting Notes

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, matured for 6 months in neutral French Oak barrels. Aromas of dark fruit greet you with secondary hints of bitter chocolate and espresso tones. That core of black fruit is continued on the palate, held together by finely grained tannins,  while balanced by juicy acidity. This red wine is both approachable and ageworthy, and may be laid down for a further 5-7 years. Pair with braised short ribs, spice rubbed or cured meats.
