2023 Norton - Journey

Journey "To the Center of the Vine" is a Brandy-infused Norton; a rich, full-bodied wine with deep ruby to garnet color and a slight amber tint. Its nose features dark fruit aromas—blackberries, plums, and cherries—complemented by caramel, vanilla, and hints of spice from the brandy infusion. The palate is complex, with bold fruit flavors, dried fruit, toffee, and subtle notes of dark chocolate and tobacco. The finish is long, smooth, and warm, with a velvety texture. This 2023 vintage pairs well with grilled meats, hearty stews, aged cheeses, and dark chocolate desserts.Aged for 10 months in Neutral French Oak barrels. Enjoyable now but can age well for the next 6-8 years.
